Unless disabled in the Edit, Substitutions menu, if Tinderbox encounters a valid URL being typed or pasted into $Text is will create an RTF-based clickable/usable Web links.
Unlike older versions, these smart links are auto-adopted as Tinderbox web links, the next time the note is re-focused. In other words to convert them immediately, click focus to another note and then back again. It is the reloading of the note that causes the conversion to take place. From v7.0.1, auto-adoption has been withdrawn pending further testing.
Smart links are not listed in Browse Links, but normal Tinderbox web links are.
